Well the rain finally gave in and we had a dry carnival with an enthusiastic crowd. Despite a communications systems failure we made it round the procession route using old-fashioned hand signals. After the carinval we all piled back to Glastonbury Rugby Club to unwind...
Early Sunday morning we were back to the cart to move it across to Weston-super-Mare for the last carnival. The trip over was long and it seeemed everybody was out on the road to make the most of the weather. After arriving at Weston, we made a bee-line for the nearest cafe for some well earned breakfast :-)
The cart is looking a little tired now, the weather has taken its toll and it's soaked up a lot of rain.
